Why Dental Anchor exists

Someone considering dental treatment in Istanbul can find a hundred clinics within an hour of searching. What they cannot easily find is a straight answer to simple questions: who will actually treat me, what does this price include, how many trips will this take, and what happens if it goes wrong after I fly home.

Those questions are not difficult. They are just rarely answered in writing before someone has paid a deposit. Dental Anchor exists to get them answered first.

Dental Anchor is a dental treatment guidance and coordination platform. We organise your case, explain the treatment directions that may be relevant, and coordinate between you and a partner clinic before, during and after treatment.

We are not a dental clinic, and we are careful about this to the point of repetition. We do not examine patients, diagnose, approve treatment plans, set prices or provide treatment. Every one of those belongs to licensed dentists at the partner clinics.

Most platforms in this sector list a great many clinics and sell your enquiry to whichever ones pay for it. You submit one form and your phone rings for a fortnight. That model rewards clinics for buying leads quickly rather than for treating people well, and it leaves you doing the assessment on your own.

We work with a small number of clinics, each assessed against the framework we publish. Small enough that we can know them properly — their dentists, their laboratory, their materials, their aftercare — and that we have nowhere to hide if the selection is poor.

You decide which clinic sees your case. No clinic receives your name, your number or your email until you have chosen it. We do not sell enquiries, and we do not pass your details to a clinic you did not ask for. That is a promise you can hold us to, and it is the opposite of how this sector usually works.

We are in a pre-partnership phase. We have not yet named any partner clinic, we have not treated patients through one, and we have no results or reviews to show you. We would rather state that plainly than fill the space with stock photographs and invented testimonials.

Until a clinic partnership is in place, what we can offer is genuinely useful: a clear explanation of the treatments, a published framework for how a clinic should be assessed, and a preliminary plan that helps you understand your own situation — including if you take it somewhere else entirely.

• Discourage you from getting a second opinion, including against us

We cannot examine you, diagnose you, or tell you which treatment you need. Nobody at Dental Anchor is your dentist. What we can do is help you arrive at a clinical conversation already understanding what is likely to be discussed, what a plan should contain, and which questions are worth asking — so the appointment is spent on your case rather than on vocabulary.

If your situation needs urgent attention, it needs a dentist where you are, now — not a plan for a trip in three months. We will say so rather than take the enquiry.
